Improve protection of women and girls through the establishment of legal frameworks and mechanisms to uphold their rights
Under this the three year joint programme supported by the MDG spanish Fund to build institutional capacity to eliminate gender-based violence and human trafficking and to improve allocation of resources using gender-responsive budgeting. the joint programme is implemented by Five un Agencies (UNFPA, UNDP, UNICEF, IOM and UN Women) in partnership with government agencies and in collaboration with relevant civil society organization and individuals.
National Action Plan is being formulated and to be submitted to Council of Ministers for Approval.
