Increased resilience of coastal and small island communities towards hydro-meteorological hazards and climate change impacts applied in Timor-Leste.
The project is aimed at strengthening the resilience of coastal communities in Timor-Leste being considered as a small island community towards hydro-meteriological hazards and climate change impacts as applied in the country through various capacity and learning events on these two issues working closely with the government through its disaster management and risk reducation agency including the education sector for education of students on the subjects by providing materials and contents to increase awareness.
Trainings and workshop conducted among key government officials from the disaster management and risk reduction agency and the education sector including civil society and NGOs working in climate change issues and hydro-meteriological hazards.
