Description: 

The project will support the country of Timor-Leste to develop its Second National Communication (SNC) to the Conference of the Parties (CoP) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Main components of the project are: 1) the ongoing development of the National Inventory of greenhouse gases (GHG) for the period of 2011- 2017 utilizing IPCC guidelines, and continuing on the 2005 - 2011 data; 2) the integrated assessment of vulnerability under climate change impacts, and adaptation measures for certain development and environment sectors and/or detailed country-specific scenarios; 3) a draft National Mitigation Plan (NMP), and; 4) a nationally determined contributions document.
