The end of program outcomes of the program are that: • Timorese women and men supported by the program are applying their knowledge and skills in the workplace, and • Timorese women and men supported by the program have ongoing links with other alumni and with Australian people, organisations and institutions.
Australia Awards Scholarships are international awards offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders for development. Through study and research, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring people-to-people links with Australia. 18 scholarships were offered for Timorese people to commence study in 2018.
Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) – since 2014 – June 2017, there are 91 awardees have successfully completed their study in Australia and returned to TL.
