1). Strengthening national routine immunization coverage for each birth cohort to at least 80% in every district as measured by DPT/HepB3. TT2+ coverage of pregnant women of at least 70% in every district;

2). Meeting all criteria necessary for certification of absence of WPV circulation in the country;

3). Strengthened programme management and supervision for further reducing burden of leprosy and sustaining leprosy control activities.;

4). Strengthened programme management and supervision for integrated programme for LF elimination and IPI control activities;

5). Strengthen collaboration between health and animal sectors to improve control of zoonotic diseases including surveillance and response to outbreaks;

6). Implementation of Communicable Disease Surveillance and Response at all level Strengthened;

7) Capacity of National Laboratory to support Vacine Preventable Diseases Surveillance Strengthened;

8). Vaccine Preventable Disease Surveillance Strengthened and supported by laboratory service;

9). The functional responsibility for implementation of IHR determined; established capacity at ports for PHEIC, clinical management team trained for management respiratory infection and hospital infection control and national laboratory is capable to conduct laboratory diagnosis for epidemic prone diseases ;

10). Strengthen Port Health as required by IHR (2005) for epidemic and pandemic response. ;

11). Strengthen the national capacity to plan and prepare (detect, assess and respond) to emerging and re-emerging diseases;

12). Strengthened the national capacity to enhance communications related to emerging and re-emerging diseases of national significance.
