Expected Outcomes: 

Result 1. Community members in Aileu have improved awareness on gender equality and experience a change in the harmful attitudes, practices, and norms that cause gender based-violence.

Result 2. A protection system for gender-based violence is in place to help the victims of GBV in Aileu with functioning referral system to Dili.

Result 3. Local CSOs in Aileu have increased capacity to support GBV victims and advocate for gender equality.

The overall objective of the action is to contribute to the creation of an enabling environment for women and girls to claim and access their rights for a life free from gender-based violence (GBV). The specific objective is to develop a replicable model to prevent and fight against gender-based violence in Timor-Leste.
