Description: 

The overall objective is to enhance institutional capacity, knowledge of Members of Parliament and expertise of staff, which in turn will improve the Parliament’s ability to fulfil its mandate in overseeing the Executive.
Final Project Results: 

Planning processes of the Parliament Administration improved.                                 Secretariat's administrative procedures updated.                                                    Procurement and asset management system improved.                                       Capacities of MPs to draft, scrutinize, amend and approve laws enhanced as a result of on-the-job trainings to MPs and capacity development training programmes to national legal drafters.                                    Budgeting processes enhanced as a result of capacity development training programmes for both Secretariat staff and MPs.                                                  Pilote transcription system developed and implemented and capacity development training programmes initiated.                   MPs knowledge on anti-corruption issues enhanced.
