Expected Outcomes: 

The expert will submit by email the following report in Portuguese at the end of the assignment in one original and four copies:

  • Assessment of animal health actions in Timor Leste that will include technical recommendations to improve current the implementation of government programmes;
  • The list of meetings undertaken during the implementation of the contract with specific recommendations on how to improve coordination with Development Partners that are already implementing Animal Health programme or livestock development programme in Timor-Leste.

Description: 

The objective of the Framework Contract is to support MAF in developing of long term plan to control animal diseases in partnerships with development partners and neighbouring countries (Indonesia, Australia). The current assignment is to assess the current situation.


Final Project Results: 

The project was carried out in a  professional manner and it met our expectations. The Final Reports and the assessment report are of appropriate quality.
