Increased income, business confidence and skills in agriculture and cooperative management by cooperative members in target areas.

Increased productivity of male and female farmers through applied agricultural knowledge and productive assets
More effective farmer cooperatives provide services and benefits to members
Increased access to better markets and increased sales for selected crops
Outputs
1.1 Male and female farmers trained in agricultural techniques such as SRI, crop diversification, processing and post-harvest management
1.2 Male and female farmers access productive assets (such as tools, equipment, improved seeds and grain storage) and effective savings groups
2.1 Male and female farmers trained in cooperative organisation and small business management
2.2 Increased involvement of women farmers in cooperative leadership and financial decision making
3.1 Analysis conducted for both domestic and international markets for key crops, and marketing strategies developed
The project will improve market access and promote market growth for key crops based on analyses of domestic and international markets.
