The outcome of the Project will be that  the national road network becomes more reliable and efficient. It is expected that the travel time on project roads will be reduced by 15% and the road accident per passenger-kilometer is reduced by 20%

The impact of the Project will be increased and more efficient movement of people and goods. It is expected that by 2020 the passenger and freight will be increased.

Rezultadus Ikus Projetu nian: 

1. National roads will be upgraded and climate
proofed.

2. A feasibility study and a detailed design for
the future upgrading of a priority road link
will be prepared.

3. Performance-based road maintenance
contracts will be introduced.

4. Awareness of road safety and transport-related social issues will be increased.

5. Efficient project management services are
provided.
